Easy-peasy way of downloading YouTube vids

Okay, so, I don’t know if the rest of you took the time to try out the video download trick that I talked about in class. In case you didn’t, here’s a quick and easy tutorial to get you started. You’re welcome.

  1. Go to (simple, ya?):
2. find a video:
3. Type in “ss” in front of the “youtube” in the URL (like so):
before: Capturebe
4. Hit enter, then wait for the download button to appear.
And voilà! you have easily acquired your video. Now you can do what you want with it (except plagiarize, of course!) and it didn’t even cost a penny, or extra space downloading a video download client! Isn’t that neat?
you can stop sharpening your pitchforks. I was only trying to be relative.

My Sights and Sounds

My favorite type of music to listen to is EDM (electronic dance music) and the most recent artist that I have came across within that genre is Mitis. He has a classical piano background and he uses those skills to produce melodic styled music. This is one of my favorite songs that he is produced and posted on SoundCloud (a site where people post their own sounds from soundtracks to acapellas), Touch.

One of the things that I like to watch on the massive site, Youtube, are the humorous Cyanide & Happiness Shorts. These are well done animations that tell jokes that may be suitable for children (it depends on what you want your kids to be exposed to). Judging by this particular one, “It’s Not What It Looks Like”, they might not even get it. Long story short, it is about a wife coming home and finding her husband in bed with another woman, or is it another woman?

When I am bored and I want some inspiration I lurk on DeviantArt. If you do not know what DeviantArt is, here is the explanation: “DeviantArt is an online community showcasing various forms of user-made artwork.” quoted from Google. Here we have a lovely picture, “Harley Suicide Squad”, of the notorious Harley Quinn. Her style of clothing was inspired by the upcoming movie the Suicide Squad. The artist behind this masterpiece is a guy who goes by the name Artgerm. He has a lot of original art that I personally think is by far the best when it comes to human body.

Youtubers Are Revolutionizing Entertainment

I just finished watching one of the videos from the Reading List called ”Are Youtubers Revolutionizing Entertainment?” and I have to say, they definitely are revolutionizing entertainment. Two things that stuck out to me in the video was the mention of how many more hours of entertainment Youtube holds over TV and movies, along with how we users are able to connect with content creators based on the things we like and they provide. I’m one of those people who spends hours on Youtube just searching up videos of things I love like video-games, Top 10 facts, Abandoned area, Alien/UFO Documentary, Paranormal investigations, Urban Legends, Cute animal videos, and a lot of other things. I could literally spend the entire day on Youtube and just watch videos nad not even turn on my TV for a source of entertianment. Youtube is the gateway to content you cannot get on televison, content in which your feedback will matter and affect the future of the videos that the content creator is providing. You can’t really get that in movies nor television shows since those run corporate and they can easily ignore the fans feedback and keep up what they’re doing. On Youtube the content creators are in-charge and they will feel the full force of feedback once they read through their comments.

Now for the second part which is that we can easily connect with Youtubers. This is a true thing for me every single day. I am subscribed to Markiplier, JustKiddingFilms/News, David So Comedy, AlphaOmegaSin, JeremyJahns, AngryJoe, TheArchfiend, JusReigns, NigaHiga, The Fine Brothers, and a couple of other users who review video games, Anime/Manga, and those who talk about topics that are popular or deserve attention. All these Youtubers I can really connect with since I share similar interests with them and those Youtubers can connect with their fans and see them either family or the people who brought them to where they are. It’s even better when you get to interact with them through Q&A and their fan pages. The fans are their life line nad are the reason they keep making videos. This is the kind of entertainment you can’t get on TV nor movies, you can only get it on Youtube. The site that’s always expanding and provides millions of content a day. The future of entertainment.~

STEROIDS!! The Hidden Enemy!!

Since my professor asked the class to do the second assignments and to be a creative, I thought of something that I really want to share with people, thing that will benefit us. I was looking through Google, and I found an interesting article in New York Times, that gets my attention which talked about SteroidsAt the beginning of the article I thought the writer exaggerated about the topic; however, when I done my research, I realized it is a huge issue that most people they might know it but ignored it.

In your heart of hearts, you know steroid abuse can’t be good. And your heart is telling you the truth. Even when used to treat medical conditions, anabolic steroids have all kinds of common side effects and it’s not only that, it might kill you at a young age. Let’s first watch this video about what steroids really do to us.

Steroid hormones work by stimulation of receptor molecules in muscle cells, which activate specific genes to produce proteins (see Figure 1.1). They also affect the activation rate of enzyme systems involved in protein metabolism, thus enhancing protein synthesis and inhibiting protein degradation (called an anti-catabolic effect).

Fig 1.1

Yes. Without a doctor’s prescription for a medical condition, it’s against the law to possess, sell, or distribute anabolic steroids. Under federal law, first-time simple possession of anabolic steroids carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a $1,000 fine. For first-offense trafficking in steroids, the maximum penalty is five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Second offenses double this penalty. In addition to federal penalties, state laws also prohibit illegal anabolic steroid use.

I hope I highlighted a very important topic that people are not taking seriously and I hope you get educated through that. Just keep in mind, “Your health is your decision”, do not destroy it by a not educated thoughts.

Saturday morning, I was sitting at Starbucks and I ordered a black coffee with a muffin. While I was sitting I watched people who came in and out, most of people I watched had the same order which is a coffee. That guide me to ask myself, why do we drink coffee everyday?!

There really can’t be any adult in this great big world that has never tried coffee. It’s consumed everywhere, and judging by the amount of Starbucks locations in the United States alone. “we love coffee!”

The question that should be asked here is, Is coffee makes you feel happier?!

A study done by the National Institute of Health found that those who drink four or more cups of coffee were about 10 percent less likely to be depressed than those who had never touched the java. And apparently it’s not because of the “caffeine high” — Coke can also give you a caffeine high, but it’s linked to depression. Study author, Honglei Chen, MD, PhD, told that the proposed reason coffee makes you feel good is because of those trusty antioxidants.

There you go 5 reasons why should we drink coffee daily:

  1. Antioxidants: Coffee contains many antioxidants which purify the body and make one feel fresh.
  2. Good for the liver: Coffee is very good for the liver, especially for people who drink alcohol.
  3. Stress-buster: People who drink coffee daily say that even the smell of coffee can relieve them from stress and tension.
  4. Reduces the risk of cancer: Coffee helps reduce the risk of cancer – be it skin or prostrate. Of course there are no proven guarantees, but no harm in having a cup everyday no!!
  5. Diabetes and Parkinson’s disease: Coffee is also known to reduce the risks of diabetes and that of Parkinson’s disease in a human being.

From my personal experience, I can say coffee has been a part of my day, or maybe more. It gives me the energy of the day that I want and also it helps me to concentrate more on my classes. Having a cup of coffee early in the morning is the magic key of having a happy morning plus a happy day.
