This game echoes deep emotion every time I hear the soundtrack. So in tribute to it I made a music video for it using its music.
I came across this certain assignment on the ds106 assignments site. Me having a love for video-games I couldn’t pass this up.
Here is quite the most honest video-game title there is. I have only played this game for a few hours and I’ve died at least 14 times.. The assignment can be found here!
In any and every format of video games, every single person has encountered or has been said person to pull a rage quit. Everyone has their own reason to rage quit right? Don’t like your opponent, rage quit on them. The team you are on in World of Warcraft isn’t listening to you and doing what they want, rage quit. You just got shot down in Call of Duty because the one person who had your back disappeared on a bathroom break? Whatever the reason we have all had it happen to us one way or another. But you have to admit that rage quits are hilarious sometimes.
God of War, Mortal Kombat, Gears of War, all these games have something in common. And that is gore! Yes all these games have blood and arteries being sliced open and your handful of nudity as well. Which of course attracted a lot of controversy. The Australian government even went out of its way to ban these games from the country! So why do we as gamers have an attraction to these kind of medium? Do they fulfill some kind of animistic desire to inflict pain on something without having the consequence? Or is it just another mere form of entertainment, one thing is for certain these games are really fun to play!

My favorite game hands down is Assassins creed. The reason being is that it beautifully incorporates the beautiful streets of historical cities such as Paris and Florence, into the game in which you can traverse every aspect of the city. Without actually going there and be mesmerized by its sights. Its a beautiful and interesting take on historical events, for instance you join Washington to fight the British in colonial times, and you feel yourself a part of History!
