These are a couple of the things on my bucket list. The first picture is of a man parachuting and it represents my desire to conquer my biggest fear. I’ve always wanted to travel and see as much of the world as possible and while that goal can be fairly vague the next two pictures are from the two locations I absolutely must and will visit. The first is a picture of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo Japan. The next is the skyline of an island in Hawaii. Finally my dream is to be an author so even if its just once I want to write something lasting. Something that will live on long after I’m dead and buried.
So I just got home from the hospital and I quickly came on here to get my creative juices flowing. So I went on the ds106 assignments and chose this quite interesting assignment for creating a collage of my top five favourite vacation destinations. Although these aren’t your typical vacation destinations, these are my favourite personal ones. The first one (From left to right) is Pripyat, Ukraine, you know where Chernboyl is at? That place is so abandoned I just want to explore it.~ The one below that is Walled City, China. It’s basically a bunch of homes put together with very narrow pathways. In the next colmun at the top is Harunda Japan, a man made island that’s has for ever since been abandoned, perfect place to shoot some creepy videos.~ Below that is this abandoned water park in Russia, sadly I can’t find the name. And the very last one is Centrelia, PA aka the real Silent Hill. Perfect places to explore and/or spend the night in for me.~
I’ve been working on this project for a week and I finally finished. I really fell out of touch with Photoshop and I probably need to reeducate myself on all of the functions and short cuts. I thought it would be fun to try out this “Where’s Waldo?” kind of project, but instead Spot the Minions (inspired by Professor Smith and the original assignment). So, what I did was opened Photoshop and Google and started copying and pasting animated characters (with transparent backgrounds) into Photoshop and arraigning them as messily as I desired. I then stuck in 5 tiny minions, and hopefully I hid them well enough. This is the first time I tried this kind of collage on Photoshop. And although it was tedious, it was also fun at the same time.
I’m not going to lie, this project IS very time consuming, but I started it and committed to it and I think it came out pretty good. I let a couple of my family members try to find the minions. They eventually all did but it took some others who didn’t have their glasses on a little longer (hint hint). Have Fun! Also, give this project a try for yourself!CTdisney <=== to see the image better
