My Sweet GIF Dream

For my project I wanted to do something fun and challenging as well. I went through the repertoire of things that I could possibly do and I found that most of them were boring. I have found my fairytale projects though ( without a partner because clearly I’m super LATE ). Nevertheless, it has boiled down to creating a multi-framed GIF story and a mashup of my favorite scenes from my favorite movies. Being the artistic guy that I am I will definitely be incorporating musicals and dance numbers and monologues of course.

The reason why I chose those two as my projects because I feel like creations that render nostalgic vibes or help you relive key moments in life is the best piece of art you could contribute to the world.

Art ?! : My view on meme art

Memes would be considered art because any way that a person seeks to express themselves is a form of art. With art taking on so many different forms like, music, dance, visual art, or art by way of painting it renders that any way you express yourself as art.

Many people use memes to express their current moods or to describe moments in time that they experienced something. They even use the meme form to relive childhood moments too. For instance , being high school I learned first hand what it meant to be a mean girl or a member of the “cool kids club” which inspired this first meme I created.

Then I thought that about when I was old enough to really go to parties with my friends. You always have a friend that likes to act out and be the center of attention but instead of telling them to relax you encourage them. That inspired this meme.

Lastly,  I have experienced a lot events while in college which have deemed me the “King of Shade” among my friends. But because I’m such a sweet person I don’t usually agree and find myself floored at times. I couldn’t find anyone better to express my deepest sentiments other than Tami Roman. She inspired this meme.

Marvel in my artistic ways !

It’s Late But Still HAPPY

The best piece of the internet that I have found is Youtube! As  dancer and singer when yo want to relive moments with your favorite artist, you have the opportunity to because within 2 minutes or less the performance or moment you just lived is now forever available. You even have lovely people who make your favorite movies fro your childhood even available. For hair connoisseurs and makeup dolls you have your favorite artist who you CANNOT get rid of and you have access to them nonstop.

For me, as a singer or dancer, watching my favorite choreographers create and bless the universe with your energy and raw talent has made me appreciate Youtube so much. To name a few I have found choreographers like WilDaBeast, Aliyah Janell, Yanis Marshall, Davon Mizrahi, Leiomy Maldonado, Aisha Francis, Danielle Polanco, Brian Friedman, and so many more.

Even in discovering this side of the Tube I have even found that my favorite choreographers have worked wit h my favorite artist/performers of all time like Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Lady Gaga just to name a few. Here is a video of Beyonce’s rehearsal with choreographer Danielle Polanco.
