Do I plan to keep my account with reclaim hosting?
I mean it is up in the air; but I am leaning towards a “no.” It is fun and all but blogging is not really my thing. Not regretting that I learned it though, I can see why people enjoy it! But personally, I cannot enjoy it as much as others might. I honestly like my domain name. I might use it for something else. I never really noticed how nice my first and middle name went with one another. I will most likely us is for tumblr or something of the sort.
After this class, I do understand the importance of a ‘Domain of One’s Own.’ What I enjoyed about blogging is that I was able to express myself in any which way I wanted. as opposed to set assignments given. It made me more interested in blogging. And that is where the importance lies; in the purpose of your domain. Being able to express your purpose or mission and sharing that is inspiring for others. It shares an idea, that idea spreads. It’s great being able to have that “power.”
What I learned in Ct101 is blankty blank blank…just kidding. I focused more on Photoshop and audio projects from DS106. It was fun using Photoshop. That’s my favorite part. I learned how to use Audacity. By the way, you should go check out my audio projects on my site!
Well that’s all CT!
Screencast Tour for my site
Sorry if I came off a little demanding I’m just very excited yet scared of what you’d think of my website. So far I have a couple of posts up there. One of which includes a how-to nail design. Another has cool project’s I’ve worked on. My blog expresses my interest, not really geared towards one thing (that would bore me). Anyway tell me what you think! I like the way it is going so far. I have also linked my Instagram and Tumblr on there so you (yes you!) better follow me and take a peep at my website!
No offense to my alarm clock; but it has to shut up. Waking up at 6:15 for a eight o’clock class every Tuesday and Thursday is so BUMMER. Bill Murray understands my pain in this gif. Found it on Giphy. I think I’m becoming less of a morning person. My brain currently runs on Cafe Bustelo and a lot of rock music on my Spotify playlist.
Went on DS106 and found this nifty project. The goal was to record yourself singing a song three times. The guy did a full song, I did about 37 seconds, lol. it was both fun and challenging. Especially finding the song. I did not know what song I wanted; took me forever. It was even harder trying to match up each recording to match one another. Anyway, Its not the best; nor is it the worst. Trying something new was the best part. I used Audacity to create the project. I believe the only way to hear it is to download it, unless your on a smart phone. Tell me what you think…of the project lol.
