Every single day I ride the NYC transit for at least 3 hours a day, to school and back. Somedays its okay, its fine;other times its horrible, and it doesn’t get better than fine. The train is where you see the worst in humanity. if you think your “resting bitch face” will keep you safe you’re in for a big surprise. thing else has ever motivated me more to take a test (drivers test).
First, off the bus completely shits on the train where it comes to comfort. I much rather be on a crowded bus than train. No funny there has been plenty many of times I have been inches toward a bursting into hysterical screams due being too close to strangers. The letter train stops are at least 5 minutes longer than number trains as well so there really is no escape. Even if there is a crowded bus chances are you won’t be on it that long and if you are you will get a seat.
Recently the trains fare has gone up and I cannot really imagine why. According to an recent article there has been a recent decrease in riders on train and who can blame them. This is due to overcrowded trains, changes in service, and sudden carpooling and I will soon be joining those people. You would think that because of this the train service would improve, but no, I am still late to class (which is half my fault).
Story time: I had left my house probably 30 minutes earlier because train time means that I will arrive at school an hour earlier. I needed to finish and print an essay and this was not my first time doing this so I know how this goes. I had prayed to all my gods but this one day in particular the trains wanted to mess all the way up. Instead of being little early or even on time, I was 30 minutes late. I still went to the library to do my essay because I wasn’t ready to take that many Ls before noon.

Yuri! ON ICE
If you haven’t already seen Yuri! On Ice I have to wonder why you don’t cherish self love. This sports anime its a bout a mediocre figure skater, Yuri and his legendary mentor, Victor. The relationship between Yuri and Vitor is so cute and so much different than the usual male representation in most shows. It is so cute and is just full of positivity.
Your Lie in April
Fair warning this will make you cry. If you want a nice wholesome innocent show to watch this is perfect. When a pianist meets this free spirited violinist she slowly gives him the will to play again. One thing I love about this anime is that the characters are so passionate and motivates you to find or appreciate the things you care about.
This show has made me appreciate food on a whole new level. This is another show with characters who are really passionate about their craft. A young cook wants to take over his family business but must first graduate from an elite high school notorious for on spot expulsions. The main character is one of those underdogs that you always root for because everyone doubts him. Some of the scenes of people eating are a bit graphic but just know its just to be funny.
This is probably my favorite anime of all time, but there is a season 2 that I haven’t watched. This is like anime CSI and its really philosophical. Its going to make you question your sanity and just how you live your life. In their society everyone is subjected to brain scans and people who are deemed dangerous or like to commit a crime is imprisoned. Even if you never committed a crime you can be arrested; even children as young as five can be deemed as a latent criminals. So because the this society is supposedly a utopia the citizens don’t know crime, they keep their doors unlocked and just live their entire lives feeling safe. The main story is about this newly appointed inspector/cop is investigating numerous crimes and the man behind them cannot be traced. Again, I feel as if this is one of the best anime ever, it is so intense and will make you question everything.

Spring means we can all go back to wearing nice clothes and having moisturized lips. Even though March is continuing to be the most ugliest of months weather wise you can use this time to prepare for what is to come in April. As beautiful and perfect as I am, it is even difficult for me to style for spring and summer, I’m more of a Fall style. Because I am this amazing generous beauty I will give you tips.
Spring and pastels go together like Trump and racism. You can never of wrong with a powder pink and any light wash pair of jeans.
Legit any professional/glam outfit you have can become comfy with a pair of Vans. They’re a quick fix for that comfy ready to go look.
If all else fails just keep it simple. Solid colors and your everyday comfy shoes are a perfect go to. Hair and makeup will compensate for what ever your outfit lacks. A good hair day can pay the bills.
