What I Learnt -You Ask?

So let me begin by telling you what a journey this has been : a creative one, a beautiful one, a little bumpy , a little uncertain & indecisive yet very spontaneous and adventurous.

I’ve always loved doing assignments for this class and I was never the kind that would save something for later and come back to it another day. My journey has been a very spontaneous one. I would write something and would just keep going, the mind juices kept flowin’ & there were times I surprised myself by the way my projects turned out.

My very own favorite blogpost is about Digital story telling. Interestingly, I brought up my paintings in that project too. I was able to think outside the box and use this platform to share my creativity.

A sneak peak of my paintings from the project :

Each and every blogpost I have written are very personable, where I can freely be myself and talk about what’s important to me rather than doing it for the instructor or for a grade. This class has provided me a platform to unwind : to be free & be myself. I’ve always liked to associate myself with a bird 🦅 because to watch it fly is the most liberating feeling ever but imagine being a bird itself? And turning those feelings into a reality.

In the 21st century, everyone wants to feel liberated, to feel enlightened , to feel empowered without feeling as though we’re chained or in the situation of a bird trapped in a cage -and I believe an outlet like CT101 is a great opportunity for students to express themselves, feel confident & empowered & not be a victim of the system that allows us yes, to be highly qualified yet lacks outlets for creativity or self expressions. It gives students a chance to get out of an autopilot mode where they spend hours and hours studying at the library or collecting work for their research to unwind and create/do something fun or maybe express themselves and their lives through memes and GIFs.

I only discovered about this class in my last year otherwise I would have been the first one to take it. Coming to the main point : If anything I learnt is this class was to destress, it was the feeling that yeah I got this! And I’d give all the credit to Professor Ryan who lets the students work at their own pace & helps them bring creative.

Oh no, I’m still not coming to the point… So yeah this class is such that even if you’ve the most difficult major or if you’re pursuing something that has nothing to do with CT101 at all, you’ll love itttt, enjoy it & learn something & won’t ever regret it.

Okay so this video is about coming to the point. I wanted to tell my audience that I learnt the use of GIF, editing the GIFs, I learnt to create my own MEME (well I knew how to) but I learnt better ways of editing memes in class on Adobe Photoshop. Moreover, OMG why did I forget to mention this I LEARNT TO CREATE MY OWN GIF :

This is to honor Prof. Ryan ♥️🙏🏻 Ayyyy that’s me doin an Indian Hello

So like yeahhh that’s it with the ad make sure you take this class in the future.

I know I know I’ve been putting it off but okey so…

I believe I’m no one to ask for a grade rather I’m grateful and appreciative of being given the opportunity to advocate for myself & I feel extremely humbled. I hope to see an A to an A+ for this class because who doesn’t wish for that?

Featuring A+ and my home made  pizza 🤣

I believe my spontaneity is worthy of the grade, I think every work was my best work but the two of my most amazing creations were story telling & post on QUARANTINE. Also, I’ve been actively reading everyone’s post, trying my best to comment as I have more time now. Rest is up to you Professor 😜

Following is the link to my marvelous website :

I get to flex how amazing I look (joking) this website will be about myself and the experiences I’ve been through and the type of things I enjoy in life. It is to promote the crazy you have in you and cherish yourself. I’d be  posting recipes on my website & self reflections to help anyone looking for inspiration.

I would love to continue my website if the time allows. Let’s see where life takes us. Hoping the very best for the coming years and keeping fingers crossed 🤞 for the very best & the pandemic to end real soon. Amen.

Thank you so much for this exciting and thoughtful series of reflections and snippets from the semester!
I love this statement about your journey – ” a creative one, a beautiful one, a little bumpy, a little uncertain & indecisive yet very spontaneous and adventurous.” So well said!
Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to the class! We all learned a lot, and from each other mostly, Im super grateful for that. Thank you for keeping in touch and reaching out with great questions and coming up with greater solutions to those questions. Your website is coming along great! Keep making ART! Especially in these very strange times of uncertainty in the world, (which I believe will get better!) Have a great summer, thanks so much!
