In the article they talked about the term “copyright”, what it is, what would be considered plagiarism and etc. Copyright is the exclusive right given to the creator of a creative work to reproduce the work, usually for a limited time. In the video explaining “Copyright”, the individual used Disney films to explain but what was brought to my attention was how Disney doesn’t and wont allowing anyone else to plagiarize their work but their work is basically remakes of old stories, myths, and legends from the past. This is one thing that I don’t fully get the grasp of dealing with copyright. The term can be confusing to one and I completely understand. There are so many individuals that have the same idea at the same exact time and the difference between one person and the rest can be that this one person put their idea into effect and copyright it first. Copyrighting your work is well recommended as well due to the possibility of one wanting to go further with their idea. This meme here basically represents one taking their idea and running with it.
