Little Housekeeping

brace-yourselves

So I’ve made a change to the weekly check-in form today. From now on you will not need to pick a week while checking in, I’ve heard it’s often caused confusion as you’re unable to look back at which one’s you’ve submitted.

Instead we’re just re-emphasizing the goal of checking in each week with a least two things you’ve worked on over the past week. As the form explains, this is not just blog posts, but work on your personal site, and even potentially social media practices can be described.

I also want you to continue to ask yourself about your “writing for the web” practices and how you think that’s going. Posts can be seen as simply reporting assignments, but the more you see that the can be artifacts of your thinking and working processes – you might find purpose in them beyond the classroom.
