Use the HTML <img> tag to add an image (including animated GIFs) to a comment. Copy and paste the code below into the comment field. Then replace the – URL of an image – text with a URL. Be sure to keep the quotes around the URL.
Or look at how to and an link by using some HTML with the tag. Try it in the comments!

Hey there. So the image isn’t embedding because the URL directs to the Imgur page:
http://imgur.com/GE7Vcm1
you need to add the .gif (which works for imgur URLs) and use:
http://imgur.com/GE7Vcm1.gif
I added the .gif to the first comment and it works. Great freakout!
Thank You!

Try again but make sure you add .gif to an imgur page url so:
http://imgur.com/aqpjIIm
becomes:
http://imgur.com/aqpjIIm.gif

You’re getting closer. You’re missing some pieces of the html and misspelling others. Look at the example at the top and see if you can find what’s wrong. There two fixes needed.
Thank you
Hey you got it! Nice!

FINALLY!
LOL!
so if I’m trying to use a gif from the internet, how would that work using the code?
oops. That one’s not the image url. If you’ve found an image using Google click the view Image button:
and then copy the URL which must end in .gif:
Oooh ok, makes sense.. thank you.
Totally got this now…cool!

No more of this at the keyboard.

I’m not sure if you intended to link to the webpage with your GIF, but if you’d like to be able to see the GIF in the comment try this:
Copy the image address as shown here by right clicking and selecting:
And then place the address in the HTML img tag like this:
