So I’ve been ABSOLUTLY OBSESSED with this anime ever since it’s debut. It’s called Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi or translated into english as Erased. It’s basically a murder mystery, time travel story. I love the pacing and the story telling technique of this anime because it’s different and dynamic. It’s definitely not your average “cute girl has a magical encounter” trope as many people are used to and have come to expect in anime. Its way more mature and has a lot of scenes that could be considered more than just a little disturbing. It touches on the subject of child abuse, murder, and betrayal. If anyone in this class is interested in some really good animation and a captivating story, I definitely recommend this one.
