Viola Davis encouraged equality of opportunity at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. Yesterday she became the first African-American women who won an Emmy for best lead actress on drama series.“The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity,” said Davis in her speech. Viola Davis graduated from Julliard School in 1993. Davis gave thanks to those that made her accomplish the goal. “…people who had redefine what it means to be beautiful, to be sexy, to be a leading women, to be black,” Davis said.
