HIIT Cardio

I have a gym membership at Lucille Roberts and instead of running on the treadmill for half an hour and lifting weights for another half an hour, I decided to try out one of the classes that they have offered, HIIT, which stands for High Intensity Interval Training. this class was done anaeroboically. Let’s just say that this class is intense, and it makes you question how strong you really are. Since this class at Lucille Roberts is 45 minutes long you wont die (not literally) from the class, but you’ll definitely feel the pain in the morning. There’s no possible way that you can’t. What makes the class so difficult is because everything is done in short intense intervals which means the body is going non-stop with rare appearances of a break. That helps in keeping the heart rate up, and the body heated. When there are breaks, they aren’t abrupt. They flow into the exercise so you’re not shocking your system by just stopping for a water break. In my class we focused mostly on the abs. With regular crunches, curl-ups and bicycle crunches and a couple more exercises. I suggest you try this class because it’s better than basic cardio simply because while you’re losing weight you’re toning as well. It’s a win-win!
