Omg…does not begin to describe the amount of issues, me and my team mate had to endure…
Our code, and the motor worked for 2 seconds, and the wires kept falling off the motor.
1st… the wires to our motor kept on falling off…. back to soldering the wires back to the motor.
2nd… attaching the cd to the motor
the small wooden circle fits on top of the motor
then two small legs creates a x….acting as a propeller….the propeller is what’s going to be responsible for spinning the Cd.
An actual cd is placed inside the spinner, then you fold the ends down, and you can use scotch tape to hold it in place.
The black object is called a Clamp, it is holding the motor in place, while we test out the circuit .
As you can see the spinner (with cd inside ) is then placed on top of the propeller.
3rd…..finding a design to house the motor
so we can’t live the motor inside the clamp.
toilet tissue tube!let’s not forget the glow in the dark paper that’s going to be added to the spinner.
The trick is going to be to tape the motor inside the toilet tissue tube.
