A classmate wrote “we create and tell stories based upon our curiosity for truths, knowledge, and to share what we may know”. I agree, having the courage to act on any curiosity you may feel is a learning experience whether good or bad. In fact this quote reminded me of the character “Neo” in “The Matrix”. Neo received bad and good based on his curiosity about the matrix, but his dramatic need was to know more about it.

  1. I think what’s particularly interesting about Neo’s desire for knowledge about the Matrix is one that comes from wanting to better understand constructions of power and control. The matrix isn’t ‘real’ it is a place of mental escape to keep the physical body alive. And the physical body is only a source of energy for the machines.

    So this particular knowledge if understood means to find freedom! That’s some awesome knowing.
