Toy Drive

Hey guys! This weekend I assisted in a non-profitable organization for their 5th Annual Toy Drive for kids hosted by Choka Lyme!
It’s all about family and togetherness.

I dragged my lovely sister, Josephine and an amazing friend, Gabriel from right here at York College! It was our first time attending anything so big and we were in charge of welcoming/greeting guests. It was packed with kids from 1-90! Maybe that’s just an exaggeration but I felt like I made a great impact at this event. Most of the guests who met me were really cool, I guess it was my warm welcome. I had a conversation with TV producer Imran who produces show’s on QPTV every Tuesday’s @6:30-7-30pm and he offered an opportunity to assist him in his upcoming gigs. I am so looking forward to this actually happening, I think it will open a door to my experience in the Media.

Since this is a non-profitable organization, everything was FREE! Candies, Cookies, Cupcakes, Roses, Fliers and to top it off DJ Vibes and his crew did an awesome job with  their music. It was everything I did not expect but very well presented. Oh and the toys, over 100 toys were donated to kids. I spoke to one of my friend Donna, who introduced me to this event and she said, “each year it’s more and more!” As my first time experience at this Toy Drive, I had an amazing time and so did Josephine and Gabriel. I hope the kids who are less fortunate are now having the greatest time of their lives.
