One of many Inspirations!

Andy Warhol is a famous artist who is famous for the way he revolutionized pop art/ visual art movement and also for his sometimes controversial art. Some of Warhol’s work was composed of many forms of media, like drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, silk screening, sculpture, film and even music was a part of his art work. He was also a pioneer in computer-generated art work. He also used Amiga computers to help make his art.Andy Warhol is a big inspiration to me mainly because he had the courage and the ability to branch out and build upon a growing art form and run wild with his art work without looking back or trying to stay inside of the box with his thinking. He let his innate cooky personality come out in his pieces just like in this picture, that I switched up with my own features here and there, which is what made me love this picture in particular. It’s a perfect example of him turning a part of himself into a work of art because art to me is a way in which you can portray something or express an emotion through different styles and ideas that come from within you or it can even be something you are inspired to capture anyway you deem fit. The beauty of art is that there is no wrong or right and I think Andy Warhol understood that  and he let his imagination/ creativity run wild! Which is something I admire a great deal especially because there are so many people that aren’t brave enough to do the same and share it with others and I also want to be more like him in the way he paved his own path.
