This is my final post for CT 101 and I have to say that it is bitter sweet. I learned so much and make some amazing friends that I kind of don’t want this class to end. This had to be one of my favorite classes for this semester. This class taught me so many different ways to edit a post, how to photo shop and so much more. It was also nice to be able to write freely in a class and not get judged on it.
It was interesting to learn how to make gifs and photo shop which I wanted to learn for so long so I was so happy to learn that. Also, i got to write about things that interested me and it felt very empowering to know I can express what I felt in a post and I wouldn’t be penalized for it.
Also, I think the highlight of this class is when we made our own blogs. It was difficult at first because I didn’t know what I wanted in my blog and even what I wanted as a domain name. But I figured out what I want to talk about. I have to say it was fun to write a review on products and give my own feedback on things that I use.
This is so bitter sweet.
Why do most of my professors think that I have not other class but there own. The amount of papers, midterms, quizzes and tests in one week is literally killing me. For one class I has a term paper, quiz and test due all on the same day!!!! Luckily I finished the my term paper earlier but basically all my term papers go in the same week!! I’m slowly dying with the lack of sleep and all the presentations that occurred for the next couple of weeks it’s going to be finals and no sleep because I have couple finals on one day!
My cousin friend went in St. Patrick Cathedral and I have to say I got so emotional when I walked inside the Cathedral. Just walking into the premises you can feel the atmosphere changing and looking at the beautiful stain glass and architecture it basically blew me away.
What hit me the most is I saw a guy praying at one of the alters and it just stuck to me that it is a sacred place and we should appreciate it as much as we can because of everything that is happening in the world.
This picture really got to me:
So it is officially a week since the election and we found out Donald Trump is going to be the 45th President of the United States. Most people are angry by it while others are happy that this happen. The main focus on why some people voted for Trump is because they wanted change. What I honestly noticed is that the older generation voted for Trump due to they want change in the United States. The other reason is that they don’t really like Clinton due to all the scandals they have been revealing over the year leading to the election.
With people who voted for Hillary Clinton, it was a sad day last Tuesday and many people have began to protest because of this and in my opinion, we are heading to a new revolution because of this.
Honestly speaking, this was a difficult election because we like neither of the candidates and I think that if it was in reverse and Hilary Clinton won there would be a lot of controversy. The reason for this assumption is due to the process of her almost getting impeached. If she had won after that, then their will be conspiracy about her rigging the election.
Everyone has their rights to their own opinion and it is a part of our first amendment, so I would never criticize anyone opinion. However, the deed is done and he is our president. Instead of looking at the bad, let’s just be optimistic and hope for the best. But, with all of the the protest going on at the moment it feels like we will be facing a revolution very soon.
I really thought making net art are really cool but still being an amateur to photoshop it was a little difficult for me. I got up to a certain point and I have to admit that it was pretty interesting to do.
I choose this picture because I loved the picture and I thought it would look cool if there was a video layer on the sky. (Didn’t get the background up though -_-). This is the original picture I used.
On photoshop I took out the sky, which took me a really long time and a lot of tutorials but I finally got it (thank god), and the results look like this:
But I am stuck at this point.
