Persona is Key

In social media I normally engage in YouTube, Twitter, Tumbler, and Reedit. My YouTube account contains mostly gaming videos basically it’s documentation of the fun times I have with my online friends. My online friends would watch them and would laugh and talk about it in the nostalgic lane. As for my pubic identity I changed into a persona that I can work with and wouldn’t feel bad about my privacy if I ever got exposed. My gamer and art user names are completely different and I like to keep them separated. My Facebook is just there and it’s basically just for communicating with old high school friends. For example one of my friends got married and we when to his wedding. He invited us through Facebook and we had a fun time. I make my choices basic on what persona is need. For example if I had to be involved with a Facebook event for a game I would use my gamers Facebook. I am always afraid what the public has to say about my opinions. If I see a few negative comments I normally freak out and if I can delete a post about my opinions I would. I think having multiple Personas’ or online accounts can help protect you.

Just nail them down

“A game plan” I never really plan at all. The reason I don’t plan is, because anytime I plan for things it always goes wrong. Though if push comes to shove then I’ve probably pick Photoshop and documenting my weapons skins in my workshop. Either with submitting renders of my custom designs on the weapons or submitting stuff from my deviant art. I believe that the reason we get to choose, because we students can’t use the excuse “it was too hard”. My pace would probably be 2 – 3 blogs a week and complete most of the storytelling assignments. Not receiving full I guess it’s fair I have no problem with that.

I chose this GIF, because I believe that this class would be a blast and you’ll get to see the a lot of students hard work.

Posting, But Not Roasting

In shooting photos I am suitable, and editing photos I am not an advance in Photoshop, but I am decent. In shooting and editing videos I don’t do a lot of recording, but I’ve use to do a good amount of editing in Sony Vegas. For sound I use to work with Pro Tools and I am pretty bad at sound recording or recreating sounds in Foley. I use to render GIFs in GIMP, but I stopped. I find myself comfortable working in Photoshop, because I have a couple of years with Photoshop, plus they are a lot of public resource or tutorials  if you don’t know how to do something on Photoshop. If I would like to learn a program better it would be After Effects, because I only used it one to make a video intro.

As a hobby I re-texture weapons in Counter Strike Global Offensive, but now I mostly re-texture weapons in a video game call “Insurgency”. In this image is a M9 Pistol that I re-textured in Photoshop.
