Weekly Reflection #1

Here are a few list of tools I’ve worked with:

Photoshop Cs5
AdobeBridge
Audacity
ProTools
Movie Maker

I think I’m mostly comfortable in using Photoshop and Audacity. There are tons of online tutorials that help me work faster and at the same time I get some free play with these programs. I can basically create whatever I want to the style, image or sound that best suits me.

I haven’t used/worked with iMovie, GIMP, Premiere Pro, Audition etc… I recently started working with Audacity and ProTools. Therefore, I would like to improve my skills in both. The new softwares I have been introduced to in CT101 will definitely be effective in my work. I believe there’s always room for improvement, so learning all these softwares will amplify my skills. I’m not aiming for perfection. Improvement is just enough and I believe there’s always room for improvement.

Here is a shot I recently took at Gantry Park of the Brazilian- Martial Arts Fighter, Joao Zeferino. It was based on one of my summer theme, ‘Cultural Aspects’ or as others called it, ‘Humans of New York’. Zeferino’s tattoo means “warrior” and the art work on his body is very inspiring.
